New Student - Registration Process

Registration Process

Registrations for the 2016/2017 school year will be accepted as of 9:00 am on Monday, February 1, 2016.  The process for registration is as follows:

If your child/children attend Centennial Park Elementary, Dormick Park Elementary, Jackson Elementary, Alexander Elementary or Godson Elementary your child/children are automatically registered at our school. No registration needs to be completed.

If you live in our catchment area (please click here to use our school locator) please come to our  school (between the hours of 9:00 am and 3:00 pm) to complete a registration form and bring with you a copy of your child’s/children’s birth certificate or passport, your child’s/children’s most recent report card and two documents to verify your address (ie. Driver’s license, utility bill, mortgage/rental agreement, etc).

If you DO NOT live in our catchment area (please click here to use our school locator) please complete a Non-Catchment form (attached below) and have the form signed by the principal of the school your child should be attending.  Then bring the non-catchment form, your child's birth certificate or passport and your child's most recent report card to the school (between the hours of 9:00 am and 3:00 pm) to complete a registration form.  PLEASE NOTE: Your registration must be received by the deadline of June 15, 2016 and will be placed on a “wait list” until  the School Board Office approves the registration.  You will receive notification in July as to whether your registration has been approved or not.
